I'm Alex and I am the Men's team captain.

 

Judo has been my passion for 10 years now and I still love every time I put my Gi on and compete. I do judo because it is more than just a way to keep fit. From its origins, Judo was as much about teaching discipline and respect in the rest of your life as it is about beating the other guy up.

 

I would highly recommend Judo to any new comer as it doesn't take long to get competent enough and start competing for the club and university but even after 10 years you'll never stop learning new things in Judo.
